「海上学府」已成立50年，是全球首屈一指的环球比较教育课程，由美国弗吉尼亚大学负责。计划至今已进行约110次学术旅程，培育来自全球约1,700所学院约5.5万名学生，到访逾60个国家。
从香港到澳门，喷射飞航？轮船？
香港有两个客运码头开通岛澳门的航运服务，一般乘客多在上环信德中心的港澳码头乘船。这里是许多公共巴士、小巴的终点站，交通十分方便，也有公共巴士去机场。信德中心内设有客运码头、直升机坪、各大酒店和旅行社的谘询处、中国旅行社分社、澳门特别行政区政府旅游局驻香港办事处。 提醒：1、可提前预定28天的船票，节假日最好提前订票，并购买往返票。 2、香港信德中心的港澳码头和澳门外港客运码头均都有专门通道提前登船。 3、澳门外港客运码头及直升机坪位於澳门半岛的外港，离新八佰伴百货公司很近。内设前往香港的各类船只及直升机售票处、旅行社、餐厅和免税店。免税店出售的烟酒价格比香港低。此外，还有一些商店出售本地出产的糖果和传统糕点。
