就在今天下午第一节课,学校如期举行了这项活动,当“主持人” 陈老师讲开场词的时候,我的心跳也随着他的每一句话不由自主地加速起来,心里想：“不会是我第一个吧!”再看看台下,似乎全校的师生都在“等”着我呢!还好,活动的顺序是从高年级到低年级的。

我坐在台下,感觉时间过得好快啊!看着高年级的同学上台后,演讲的那么轻松自如,我的心又开始怦怦直跳了。正在这时,只听见陈老师宣布：下一个演讲者是来自三年级的……他讲完之后,我屏气凝神,走上了台,在作完自我介绍后,就开始演讲。可当我作自我介绍时候,之前准备得极其熟练的演讲却变得磕磕绊绊!真糟糕,一紧张,居然卡壳了!这时,我感觉到我的老师和同学们正用鄙视的眼光盯着我,这么一想我更加紧张了。

这时,站在我旁边的陈老师悄悄地对我说：“别紧张,你是最棒的!”听了 陈老师的话,我一下子信心倍增,很流畅地演讲了起来。可是,快要结束时,竟然又一次忘词了,而我也再一次听到了陈老师的“悄悄话”,看到了陈老师鼓励的眼神!我终于把演讲顺利地完成了。

但是,胆小的我心里很明白,这次的登台让我的老师、妈妈很失望,因为,在台上由于我的心情太紧张,导致发出的声音太小,当我演讲完毕后,听到了同学们热烈的掌声!最后演讲得分：8。89分,而且,还得了全校第二名。

虽然这次演讲,比我在家里的“彩排”差远了,尽管“不尽人意”但我还是非常高兴,因为,以后我还会有很多在“大庭广众”下讲演的时候,这次只是一个不错的开头,下次我一定会做得更好。

在此,我要衷心感谢陈老师给我提供这么宝贵的锻炼机会,更要感谢他在我演讲时候对我说的“悄悄话”,如果没有他的鼓励,我这次的演讲也不会这么好!这次珍贵的演讲,将会永远铭刻在我的心里!

我想,每个人都会有第一次,虽然,我的第一次表现得不是很好,但是只要努力地做,认真地做,在下一次登台时我一定表现得会更好!。
